Summer Camp "Leadership in the Business World" for Future Businessmen

Summer Camp "Leadership in the Business World" invites students entering 11th and 12th grades for a summer vacation and business studies in Pennsylvania. The program offers a unique opportunity to combine a demanding curriculum in business, summer vacation, fascinating excursions and travel, outreach cultural programs and training in a world-renowned tennis and golf school.

The program schedule includes 3 hours of studies a day (except weekends) and covers the following topics:

·                     Evaluating and Managing Risk

·                     Actuarial Science

·                     Introduction to Accounting

·                     Financing of an Entrepreneurial Enterprise

·                     Math, Finance, Economics

·                     Business Ethics; Business Law

·                     Entrepreneurship

·                     Business Idea Generation

·                     Feasibility of a New Venture

·                     Marketing Research

A comprehensible level of instruction and the high level of professionalism of the faculty help students in obtaining the skills and knowledge necessary to function in the modern world. The program provides a basic knowledge of the business laws and rules that will affect students' future career choices.

Typical Agenda:

7:45 - Wake up call. Students live in a dormitory in double rooms. Resident advisors live in dormitories together with students.

8:15 - Breakfast. Menu of the cafeteria offers a wide variety of food including fruits, dairy products and main courses.

9:15 – Students sign in at the University.

9:30 – Morning classes begin. Lectures are combined with group discussions, meetings with interesting personalities and specialists, and field trips.

12:00 - Lunch. The assortment of food includes salads, sandwiches and soft drinks provided by the University dining center.

13:00 – 16:00 – Entrepreneurial business plan workshops and leadership development workshops.

16:00 – 17:30 – Students participate in recreational and athletic activities, go on excursions or relax and socialize with friends.

18:00 - Dinner (Hot-dogs, hamburgers, pizza, spaghetti, beef, chicken, fish, vegetarian food, salads, deserts, etc.) and evening activities and trips.

During the weekends students get opportunities to discover America by visiting amusement parks, theaters, concerts, movie theaters and the ocean coast. Students could visit the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and participate in two-day trips to New York and Washington.

The cost of the four-week program is $4950. This includes tuition, accommodations, on-campus meals and off-campus trips.

The camp "Leadership in the Business World" is in the four-week session from the beginning of July.
