Internship Program in Hotel, Hospitality, and Recreation

Educational World, Inc. offers to foreign students and professionals an internship program in an American company in one of the fastest growing industries - Hotel, Hospitality, and Recreation.

The goal of the program is to obtain practical and learning experience while working as an intern at hotels and recreation centers in the southeastern part of the U.S. (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia).

The internship is conducted in several ways:

• Hotels (reservations, room-cleaning, administration, etc.); seminars and practical training in hotels;
• Food industry (food production, food reserves and supply, banquets, purchasing); class lectures are combined with practical training in restaurants, cafes, and bistros;
• Recreation (program development, planning, evaluation of various events for guests of any age group); coordination of special events, marketing and market promotion, profit evaluation, reliability, practical leadership skills;
• Job opportunities for those who received training in one of the above listed fields; practical training and lecture courses (certificate will be granted upon completion).

Students, who want to receive practical training will have an opportunity to work at the hotel or restaurant for 6-12 months.

Special activities including parties, sport competitions, excursions and others are offered to the program participants.

Applicants must complete the application and submit a resume and reference letter.

Accommodations will be provided to the program participants. The employer will pay a monthly salary and also cover utility expenses including telephone bills and transportation to and from work.

The duration of the program is 6 to 12 months. The processing time for the application and program organization is 3 months. Cost of the program is $2500. Participants will come to the US on J-1 or Q exchange visas. If the intern does not have medical insurance, he cost of the insurance will be $45/month extra.
